Now that we've gotten settled into our home and ministry roles, we wanted to be able to spend some quality time with the kids we came here to love. We're thinking of doing this weekly with new kids each time. Here's a picture story of the first batch of kids.
Started off at 4pm by Russ picking them up at the home and going shopping for some ingredients for dinner. The girls loved that. Then it was time to get to the apartment and go swimming! Here's the girls posing with Jess and Micaiah. We all had a great time.
Then, after cleaning up a bit, it was time for dinner. We took our places around the table and stopped for a quick photo.
I propose a toast! Raise your gatorade, C2 (Filipino apple ice tea), or sprite- the girls picked out the drinks at the grocery store :)
A Filipino favorite; spaghetti and corn. Yum, those girls sure know how to eat!
After dinner we finished off with a showing of Tangled, along with some cookies n cream ice cream, another girls' choice. All in all, it was a great night and we look forward to having some of the boys over next time!
